Description of Aurora Lakes Resort: Aurora Lakes Resort is a true 1950's - era fishing camp. Boats available on 12 walk - in lakes. We offer AC power, flush toilets, fish smoking and preparation. This chain of lakes offers excellent fly fishing and trolling for rainbow trout up to 14 lb with one lake having eastern brook trout also. These lakes are situated on a high plateau at 4,000 feet and are not generally affected by hot weather. Therefore, fishing remains good throughout the season; May 15 - October 15. Fishing licenses are available. |
