Wright's Beach Camp family campground is located at the south end of Penticton on Skaha Lake. Campground facilities include a private sandy beach with a roped off swimming area and dock, a quiet atmosphere, waterfront tenting sites, waterfront partial hook-up sites including 15 amp power and water. Also available at Wright's are beachfront full hook-up sites including 30 amp power, water, sewer and cable TV, a convenience store, clean washrooms with coin operated showers, many shady spots that can accommodate larger units, internet access, a picnic table at every site, and an arcade. |

This park offers 22 vehicle accessible campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.Camping is under canopy of trees. There is no gatehouse or locked gate. There is room for two vehicles at each site and extra parking is available for a fee.
Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but there are no facilities provided. There are three walk-in campsites on Anthony Island. The hike in is approximately 3 kilometres. Camping is on the bare ground. Please camp in designated sites. There are pit toilets available. There is a designated fire ring for campfires; you will need to pack in your own firewood.
Trout fishing is available. Spring is said to be best after April 1st. Catch and release in effect.

These ranges are situated in the rain shadow of the Coast Mountains, and support a high diversity of plant and animal species.

Jedediah's isolation and tranquility make it an excellent destination for kayaking and wilderness camping. What sets Jedediah apart is its size – it is one of the largest island parks in the province. Some of the best camping areas are near the shoreline around Long Bay. Small bays on the east side of the island provide campers with a little more privacy, especially during the summer at the height of kayaking-touring season, when the island can get quite busy.
This park is accessible by boat only. Random camping is allowed, although there are no developed sites and no facilities are provided other than pit toilets.

This 34 site campground situated among a lakeside Douglas fir and larch forest, is a peaceful and welcome retreat for the traveling public and visitors to the nearby city of Cranbrook. The campground was rebuilt in 2001 to accommodate recreational vehicles.
Sunbathing, swimming, non-motorized boating and picnicking are popular activities at Jimsmith Park that are located in a day-use waterfront area.
This is the perfect setting for nature study and wildlife viewing. In winter, the park is transformed into a snowy playground for tobogganing and ice skating.

Floral displays are spectacular for brief periods in the summer months and opportunities for photography abound. This magnificent area of jagged peaks, icefields, cold rushing streams and turquoise blue lakes was established as a recreation area in 1988 and became a Class A park in 1996. Joffre Lakes Provincial Park has opportunities for hiking, camping, mountaineering, wildlife viewing, and fishing.
Camping is permitted year round at Upper Joffre Lake, 5.5 kilometres from the parking lot.

Juniper Beach was established as a Provincial Park in 1989.. The park protects a representative desert landscape which contains sagebrush, prickly pear cactus and of course, juniper. Part of the landscape includes deep post-glacial deposits and large scale erosion features. It is a convenient overnight camping spot for travelers on Hwy #1 and provides access to the Thompson River. Both CNR and CPR railway tracks run by the park and provide an attraction to train-buffs. This park is also a popular base camp for visitors enjoying boating, fishing, photography and touring historic Hat Creek Ranch and Ashcroft Manor, both nearby.
Thompson River contains trout, steelhead and salmon.

Kekuli Bay Provincial Park is located off Highway 97, 11 km. south of Vernon. The park is situated on a beautiful bay on the west side of Kalamalka Lake, a destination for waterskiing and boating. A newly developed campground has been added to the area which formerly consisted only of a boat launch., Kekuli Bay is a brand new campground and, as such, has no shade. Many young shade trees were planted and the grassy areas between the sites are beautifully landscaped.

Wide open spaces, great fishing, wildlife, old west history and a quieter camping spot can all be yours in less than a 90 minute drive from the central Okanagan. Located in the heart of cattle country, the rolling grasslands and dry open forest surround the sparkling turquoise waters of Kentucky Lake and Alleyne Lake. The scenery is spectacular from early April to late October with springs’ palette of soft pastels slowly changing to the vibrant golds of autumn.
This area is very popular for fishing and even features a 'children only' fishery to foster interest in the sport among youth. The ponds between Kentucky Lake and Alleyne Lake are open only to those under the age of 16. The lakes and ponds are stocked with rainbow trout from the Summerland Trout Hatchery. Depending on temperatures, there are ice fishing opportunities in the park.

Located in a dry sunny area of the province, this park preserves an example of Interior Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine forest and grassland habitat. Paved roads within this family oriented park are conducive to biking.
The two campgrounds offer 135 sites and two group camping sites on the eastern shore of man-made Lake Koocanusa. There are other lakes where power boats are prohibited. Grassland with groves of trees. Scenic and varied.
