Roughing it at Chataway adds to the total experience. There is no plumbing in the cabins or in the campsite. During our high season (May to October) we have a centrally located shower house where you can have hot showers all day until 9:30 P.M.There are no flushed toilets, outhouses only.
The cabins all sleep four persons comfortably, with either two double beds or a double bed and a set of single bunk beds. You need to bring your own bedding. Each cabin offers a wood burning stove and a propane cook top stove for comfort and convenience, but there are no fridges in the cabins, therefore you do need to bring your own cooler. The kitchenettes are supplied with dishes, pots, pans and cutlery.

Chilliwack Heritage Park is a 65-acre park that boasts a 150,000 square foot building which can accommodate a number of events from trade shows and conventions to agricultural and equestrian events as well as concerts and more!
There is a seven-acre field for outdoor concerts and festivals as well as camping. A 5/8 mile race track and rodeo arena play host to chuckwagon and chariot racing and rodeos.

Claud Elliot Lake is one of three protected areas nestled along the upper Tsitika watershed. The area is part of a river system ranked among the 10 most important fish streams on Vancouver Island.
There are no maintained campsites at this park, however wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed. No facilities are provided and there is no fee.
Both Claud Elliot Lake and Fickle Lake are known for high quality recreational angling. Lakes contain coho salmon, Cutthroat, Dolly Varden, Kokanee and Rainbow trout and steelhead. The most easily accessible of these lakes is Claud Elliot Lake. More adventurous fishers can go to Fickle Lake, further downstream in the valley. This lake is harder to access and will require lining canoes or kayaks back upstream to Claud Elliot Lake.

Visitors to this park can fish for Cutthroat trout, canoe or kayak paddle along the scenic shoreline or observe wildlife in its natural habitat. An unusual phenomenon occurs in Clayoquot Arm. Sockeye salmon spawn 20 meters below the water surface making for a great viewing opportunity.

This 692 hectare park and protected area is located approximately 160 km northeast of Prince George. There is logging road access within 5 km of the park/protected area.
The park/protected area is situated in the Dezaiko Range of the Rocky Mountains. This park protects the internationally significant Close-To-The-Edge cave, which has the deepest shaft and is the second deepest overall cave (440) in Canada/USA, and is among the 50 deepest caves in the world. The cave was discovered in 1983, but the bottom of the cave was not reached until 1986. The primary shaft drops 253 m straight down, and is about 23 m in diameter. There are also additional, smaller caves in the park.
Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.

The special feature in the park is the red sand beach along Sagar Lake and can be accessed via boat and then a 15-20 minute walk along a trail.

Copeland Islands Provincial park was established in July of 1971 and consists of a small chain of islands, islets and rocks in Thulin Passage. It is an excellent destination for kayakers, since it is a good stopover point between Lund and Desolation Sound. This area also provides opportunities for scuba diving, wildlife viewing, wilderness camping, swimming and fishing. There are limited anchorages for small vessels.
Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no facilities are provided.
There are two separate tenting site locations. There are four framed tent pads; two are located on the northernmost set of islands and the other two are located on the southernmost island.
