Gulls, Bald eagles, cormorants, herons and oystercatchers can also be seen here. The Lower campground has 15 sites and is located close to the lake. The Upper campground, with 44 sites, is located across the highway from the lake and is connected to the lower campground and beach access by a trail that leads through a highway underpass. Winter camping with limited facilities is available at the lower campground and a winter fee is in place.
