Description of Oyama Lake Resort:
Oyama Lake is situated just 27 km north of Kelowna and 19 km south of Vernon, BC, Canada and just 15 km from Highway 97 east of the town of Oyama.
It is a beautiful high-elevation lake above the Okanagan Valley with an irregular shoreline and 27 islands. It covers more than 800 acres. The many sunken islands, weed beds and abundant feed provide ideal fishing conditions for the troll or fly fisherman. |

Description of Overlander Stopping Place:
Five km south of Little Fort on Yellowhead Highway 5. Our Gold Panner welcomes you to 40 sites nestled in the cedars along Thuya Creek. Showers, firewood, horseshoe pits, playground, convenience store, rock shop and gift shop.
Fully open May 1 to September 30. Limited facilities for the rest of the year. |
Description of Otter Lake Provincial Park

If you're looking for privacy in a natural setting, Otter Lake is ideal for old-fashioned camping. The park has two locations, a main picnic/day-use area in Tulameen and a lovely lakeside campground about 5 km further north along the road. The Cascade Mountain Range surrounds the park and includes awesome canyons and clear flowing streams. Large numbers of otter, beaver and red squirrel inhabit the area, as well as, mountain goats, cougars and grizzly bears. Fishermen will find time spent on Otter Lake rewarding, with large lake trout being the catch of the day. The scenic lakeside campground is an ideal base for those who want to explore the mining history of the Tulameen area.
Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available. |
