Description of Itcha Ilgachuz Provincial Park:
Itcha Ilgachuz is a wilderness park set aside to protect alpine grasslands, wetlands, and wildlife habitat, including the largest herd of woodland caribou in southern BC. The Itcha Range and Ilgachuz Range are examples of isolated shield volcanoes, rising up to 2400 metres above sea level. These ranges are situated in the rain shadow of the Coast Mountains, and support a high diversity of plant and animal species.
Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no facilities are provided.
There are two cabins located near Itcha Lake for public use on a first-come, first-served basis. |

Family campground adjacent to the waterslide. Shaded grassy sites with full and partial hookups, some with firepits. Sandy private beach, launch, mini-golf. Playground, laundry, store. Night security, pets. Off-season rates. Open April 15 to September 30. |

Off Highway 17, 3 km (2 mi) east on Island View Road, left 300 m (984ft) Homathko Drive, closest to Butchard Gardens, quiet sandy sea beach, firepits, water, tables, coin showers, sani-station, electricity, pets, CP 1 day. |
Description of Island 22 Campground & Equestrian Park:
The intended purpose of the park is to provide outdoor recreational opportunities for the residents of Chilliwack and area as well as tourists travelling through the Fraser Valley. Eighty-one overnight campsites are available, twelve of which have recently been developed to provide 15 or 30 amp service. Each campsite has a parking area, activity pad, picnic table and firepit. A water pump and pit toilets are also available for campers. A day-use area, that includes picnic sites and a boat launch, is located adjacent to the Fraser River and may be used by the general public. The Fraser River is famous for its variety of fish which includes Trout, Salmon, Steelhead and Sturgeon. |

The park offers a variety of recreation activities. Indian Arm is ideal for motor boating, kayaking, canoeing, and scuba diving. Indian River and the lower reaches of some creeks are perfect for recreational fishing. The old-growth forested mountains provide opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing and nature appreciation, while the flat beach areas along the shorelines of Bishop Creek provide opportunities for rustic camping, picnicking and other day-use activities. Marine access camping is also available on the south side of Granite Falls. The shoals around Raccoon and Twin Islands offer good scuba diving. Visitors can also enjoy limited, rustic camping on Twin Islands.
The Indian River supports five species of salmon, sea-run cutthroat, and small steelhead populations. The estuary is vital habitat for prawns and crab. A wide variety of rockfish and other bottom fish are available.

Nestled in the tall cottonwoods and riverside thickets along Okanagan River, the park protects a few hectares of this rapidly diminishing habitat. It also provides a welcome retreat from the Okanagan sun. It is the perfect spot for the more rustic camper and those who like to experience a more natural setting. Campsites sit in the shade of large trees, and it’s a short trail to the cool river, where you can carry your canoe for an afternoon of exploring or fishing. Recreation opportunities include camping and natural value appreciation, bird and wildlife watching.
Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis

This park offers 22 vehicle accessible campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.Camping is under canopy of trees. There is no gatehouse or locked gate. There is room for two vehicles at each site and extra parking is available for a fee.
Wilderness, backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but there are no facilities provided. There are three walk-in campsites on Anthony Island. The hike in is approximately 3 kilometres. Camping is on the bare ground. Please camp in designated sites. There are pit toilets available. There is a designated fire ring for campfires; you will need to pack in your own firewood.
Trout fishing is available. Spring is said to be best after April 1st. Catch and release in effect.
